About Harvest Heritage

Published by Kevin under

Harvest Heritage is the legacy of Hank Snyder.  The idea for this web site has come from him, and this web site is in honor of him.  His lifetime work which is still being offered of today as a garden planner to those who seek him.  He has won awards in his presentation of the history of the seed catalog in America, and knows with distinction the origins of plants from around the world.  This web site holds history within it, and will also hold the stories that are fond of telling.  The legacy of today, and the stories of yesterday.

Hank SnyderProducts and services today are not like they once were.  They do not last as long, or hold up to the conditions a model from sixty years ago would hold up to.  The pleasantries of the past seem to have gone astray, where we make progress in some areas such as technology, equal rights, and world communication, we fall astray in the values of a binding handshake, honor, good business, good fathers, etc.

We seem to live more in a “Technologic” world where we buy it, use it, break it, fix it, trash it, change it, mail – upgrade it, charge it, point it, zoom it, press it, snap it, work it, quick – erase it, Write it, cut it, paste it, save it, load it, check it, quit – rewrite it, plug it, play it, burn it, rip it, drag and drop it, zip – unzip it… in the words of Daft Punk.

Harvest Heritage’s main goal is to bring early 20th century values into our 21st century Internet.  The man, the values, the stories, the love he shares with his family, and the advice he still continues to give us.  This is your web site, Pa.  We wish your life continue to bless those who come in contact with it.
